The drums were from an old drum-instructional record. I just chopped them up to suit my needs.

the 8bitness sounds more like Game Gear music than anything else

the SN76489 sound chip in the game gear couldn't do any other wave forms besides square and white noise. So the PWM, filtering, saw wave arp and the wavetable drums in this song would not have been possible, hence why in the description I say "C64-Like" because the C64's SID chip can do all of these and more. But whatever floats ya boat. xP
